This is the second world map. You'll start disc two with this kind of setup. However, you can only freely access portions of the map after Merkava falls and morphs into Deus. (Warning! Once you are in disc 2, there is absolutely no way of accessing world map 1 towns!)

Here in world map 2, you can do three side quests before barging over to beat Deus in his lair. The side quests can be accessed in three separate portions of the map. One is in Duneman Isle, where you can find Citan's most powerful weapon, the Yamoto sword, and a lot of other cool items. Second, in the Lighthouse you can view secret cutscenes portraying Kim and Elly during the Zeboim Era, plus, Emeralda will get to grow up. You can also find here Joe's shop, where you can buy ultimate gear parts -- of course, in exchange for a lot of money. Third, is in Nortune where you can still do Gear battle in the Battle Arena. You can win a lot of rare items and even get to play two-player (human vs. human) mode. For more details regarding these, see the secrets and cheats section.
