None was much known about Nortune's Gear
Battling Champ. He was a strong fellow, a hulking demi-human that can beat any
man out of his wits in no time. For years he served as the prison-city's
symbol for brute, convicted strength, and even though he won
his freedom many times, he still remained in Nortune for a reason
he himself cannot explain. The collar on his neck was but a reminder of his convicted

Rico was the best in all Nortune when it came to Gear Battling.
A sport of unspeakable danger, Rico heads the battlers in his
equally hulking gear, Stier.
However, the day came when Rico has to face inevitable defeat.

Fong Wong,
a new convict entered his turf, and in order to win his freedom,
Fei tried out for the Gear Battling Arena, where he eventually
reached the finals, and faced the Champ. It was the moment of
truth.
Alas, the Champ was beaten, and to Fei went the new title. Surprising
enough, title was not the only thing Rico was about to lose.
He was then scouted out like a mad animal, and after his arrest,
he was sentenced to death without a trial. It appears like the
very people of the Arena whom he trusted wanted him silenced.
But for what? Rico's discovery of the momento chain even held
more mystery than he could ever fathom. The mystery of his identity,
was about to be
revealed...
