 This gear is mysterious
enough in itself as it bears no arms from a quick glance. However, the wings attached
to the body makes up for its loss of upper limbs. These wings
act as the gear's main weapon, bashing at the enemy as if swatting
a mere fly. Even stranger was the absence of a manual control
cockpit, but instead a modified harness that enabled the gear's
controls to directly attach
itself
to the pilot. Reacting with Emeralda's nanomachine colony, Crescens
has a unique ability to regenerate itself, and the powerful lower
thrusts gives it remarkable flying and hovering ability, ridding
the need for walking. This gear also has the inherited talent
to manipulate, and even amplify powerful ether-based attacks
and spells.
Crescens, aside from being
the neo-prototype of pilot-gear actual interaction, also acts
witness to a new chapter in Emeralda's life. Caught in manipulated
battle with Fei and his group, the young fighter finally realized
that she had been reunited with the very person she calls "father"...
