Maria was still thinking about that fateful day she was parted with her father. She never knew what became of him, and all that's left of his memory was the hulking gear Siebzehn.

This massive gear was the very vessel Maria rode the day she escaped Solaris. She was young back then, and had very vague memory of her father and her past. However, she had a certain feeling of being one with Siebzehn -- she could feel the gear sympathizing with her, and throughout the years she considered it her best friend.

Amazing enough, Siebzehn was one of the prototype gears that require minimal, if not none, human control. It recognizes Maria as its master, shares her thoughts, and immediately runs to her aid in times of peril. Armed with the advantage of brute strength, this gear's main asset is its attack power. But, as expected, it is on the slow side. Nonetheless, its strength and defense makes up for its lack in speed.
