Nortune bears a reputation for holding the continent's most feared and deadliest convicts. However infamous it is, this country is also widely known for its Gear Battling Arena - a way dangerous sport where two gears, piloted by convicts, are pitted against each other until one falls and loses. Rico is the current champion in this sport, and aiding him in his series of victories is the gear, Stier.

Stier is yet another hulking gear in the roster of Ignas models. It was made solely for the purpose of battling, thus it features enhanced output and strength. On the left arm is a drill claw capable of tearing up to 0.8 sharls of steel. Seemingly huge and slow, it is in fact speedier than the average gear as it bears grind rollers under its massive feet. The huge rocket parts on its back allots more to its air speed -- giving the gear more thrust when flying. Its speed in battle outside the battling arena, however, is inferior to the other gears in Fei's party.

This gear was especially designed for the battling champ, Rico. Bestowed upon him by the very founders of the sport, Rico strives to maintan his title and live in the luxury of his own room. It, however, boggles everybody why Rico chose to stay in Nortune even if his victories already won him his freedom. Maybe battling was just in Rico's blood -- but the big wrestler himself thinks otherwise.
